When I think about the holidays, I think about friends, family and food. There is something magical about eating turkey and mashed potatoes surrounded by the ones who matter most. Food tastes better and naps are welcomed with open arms. I love every aspect of the holidays, except for the calories. When I am asked if I want a second piece of pie, my stomach is screaming no, but my mouth always says, “Yes, please.” But I’ve found a way to save calories with some of my favorite holiday dishes so I can indulge when it comes to dessert time.
